Turton

Project Overview

This property is situated on a challenging site with two steep inclines in the rear garden.

This garden was designed and built in house, and was commissioned after building the garden of the property next door.

A large area was levelled to give space for a family sized lawn, a large patio area featuring a louvre opening roof aluminium pergola, an outdoor kitchen with built in appliances and a bespoke outdoor fireplace.

The fireplace is clad in large format porcelain cladding and has a polished granite surround and hearth. An iroko hardwood floating bench was built in to the retaining wall and lines up perfectly with the hearth.

Behind this a wildflower meadow creates a transition from the garden into the fields beyond. There is more formal planting around the lawn area and bespoke corten steel planters frame the pathway that connects the raised deck and the rear patio.

Lime trees are planted along both side boundaries to create privacy from neighbouring properties and the embankment down towards the lower level of the property is planted in a woodland theme.
